The Lake Como EDITION brings something distinctly new to the western shore. Set within a reimagined nineteenth century palazzo in Cadenabbia, the hotel combines historic architecture with contemporary interiors and sweeping views across the water towards Bellagio.
With 148 rooms, including 24 suites, two penthouses and a private villa, this is a substantial addition to the lake’s luxury hotel scene. A floating pool, private dock and waterfront access connect the hotel directly to the lake, while the food offering includes restaurants overseen by chef Mauro Colagreco. The property had a preview opening in 2025 before its full opening in March 2026.

When to Book a Luxury Hotel on Lake Como
Lake Como’s most sought after hotels can book well ahead for the warmer months, particularly for rooms and suites with the best lake views. If you plan to travel between June and September, booking several months ahead gives you a much stronger choice.
May, June and September are particularly appealing. The gardens are beautiful, the lake is lively and temperatures are generally well suited to spending time outdoors. July and August offer the full summer experience, but they also bring greater demand, busier ferries and more visitors to the lake’s best known towns.
